Welcome,

For awhile now, I've been wanting to host a winter retreat aimed at helping men to reset after the holidays and take care of themselves as we slow down into the winter months.

Think slow, restorative, cozy, and intentional.

On this retreat, the main aim will be to work with the nervous system to help map it and learn how to get back balance, safety, and connection.

Combined with sauna, cold-plunge, and nightly hot-tub time, this short weekend will be just the thing you need to reset for another busy year. Scroll to learn more!

The Space

Hosted at Stillwater Stables in Ortonville, MI. This multi-acre private farm-land on a private lake will allow us to disconnect from our busy lives and will hold the space for our activities and time together. We will do most of our work together in the "Pony Up", a modern styled and cozy open space above the stable. The land overlooks a lake and has rolling pastures and some wooded trails with private lodging tucked in the landscape to provide the perfect setting for a relaxing and restorative winter weekend. Additionally, the land has hot-tubs, sauna, and a cold-plunge which will add even more to the overall relaxation of the weekend.

Who's this for?

  • If you're like me, you might get a little funky after the holidays. It's grey, things have slowed down, and the nervous system is in need of some help after the holiday craziness.
  • This retreat is for men looking to take a little time away to take care of themselves so that they can get to know their systems and how to regulate themselves in order to stay better connected, especially in these winter months.
  •  Many men have found just how helpful it can be to take a pause for yourself once or twice a year as our modern lives continue to require more and more of our attention.

What's Included:

Past Retreat Testimonials

Michael G.

This retreat was well planned out and executed. My anxiety was high in the beginning but diminished early into the weekend. It was clear that all the participants were open to exploring themselves and reconnecting to their authentic self. As the days went on, I was shocked how quickly I was able to explore several components of the different "parts" that contribute to who I am. I attribute this to the guidance and passion that Mike and Nick have toward helping men better understand themselves, their psyche, and incorporating these connections to nature. You won't regret participating in these retreats!

This was the first time that I have gone to a men's retreat. It was such and amazing weekend, beyond my expectations really. The location, and the care, and instruction that Mike, and Nick provided were exceptional. I look forward to the opportunity to return next year.
